Patient Service Associate
Annabel graduated in 2004 and started her career in the service industry in different roles working in the retail sector as well as the hospitality sector. She moved to the healthcare sector in 2009 and discovered her passion for healthcare. She started as a healthcare assistant in a GP Clinic that was part of the Healthway Medical Group. In 2011, she joined the Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery Centre (HRMC) at the National University Hospital (NUH) as a Patient Service Associate.
She enjoys coordinating between the different parties involved in patient care, be it the implant vendors, pharmaceutical representatives, hospital administration, insurance providers and the doctors to make the necessary arrangements to ensure that the patient admission and stay is smooth. Seeing the patient’s return to clinic for their post-operative follow-up and helping them as they recover knowing that she has contributed towards their well-being gives her immense satisfaction and assurance that she is doing good work. She brings the same enthusiasm and belief to her new role at Orthopaedic and Hand Surgery Partners. In her free time, she loves to travel and explore different countries, their culture and their food. Her motto in life is:“To Live, To Learn and To Share”.
