General Questions

Where can I have my surgery?

Our clinic has a dedicated Minor Surgical Procedure room with comprehensive surgical capability to treat a wide spectrum of conditions such as trigger finger, deQuervain tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis of the hand and wrist, infections, and soft tissue injuries.

Our doctors are also accredited to practice in Gleneagles Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Parkway East Hospital, Farrer Park Hospital and Mount Alvernia Hospital.

Discuss your options with the surgeon.

Is the surgery painful?

To prevent pain and discomfort during a procedure, patient will be administered with anaesthetics to numb sensation in at and or around the surgery site.  There are several options for anaesthesia and the type used depends on the nature and duration of the surgery, patient’s health and any other medical conditions, and preferences of the patient, surgeon, and anaesthesiologist.

When discussing your procedure, your doctor will explain the options available in detail.

Can I use Medisave to pay for the surgery costs?

Our clinic is Medisave accredited.  We are also an appointed integrated shield panel service provider with AIA, Aviva, AXA, Great Eastern Life, NTUC Income and Prudential.

For surgeries done in the clinic, we will assist you with the e-filing for Medisave and integrated-shield claims.  For surgeries done in the hospitals, e-filing of claims will be managed by the respective hospitals.

Information required to facilitate the e-filing will be shared with you during your financial counselling.

Do you accept any international medical insurance?

Yes, we do.  We are a panel service provider for BUPA Global and Cigna International.

Is Pre-Authorisation required for all surgeries?

Pre-Authorisation is always recommended for planned treatments as this will ease the claim process.  It will also provide a peace of mind knowing that your treatment costs will be covered by your insurer.

Can the clinic assist to apply for Pre-Authorisation prior to the surgery?

Due to PDPA issues, patients are required to apply for Pre-Authorisation directly with the insurers.  The clinic will assist to provide all the necessary information required and submit it directly to the insurer.
